Flower Tales Titanium Dioxide is a mineral commonly used in cosmetics as a UV filter, as a filler, or as a white pigment or base for pastel colours in make up formulations. Used in creams or make up products, it has a matting effect.

Titanium Dioxide is often combined in equal parts with Zinc Oxide in sunscreen lotions to achieve a 10-15 SPF

When combined with Dry Flo, Titanium Dioxides’ natural sunscreen effect is enhanced by up to 40%, leaving no white streaks.

FLOWER TALES QUALITY: Our Titanium Dioxide is free from nanoparticles (0,40 micron), non coated, and certified pure by the Italian, European and USA official pharmacopoeia, guaranteeing the total absence (<10cfu/g) of impurities. The production process of Flower Tales Titanium Dioxide and the high temeperature (150°) of the steam used in the crystalisation process give a poduct which is safe and free from microbial cultures.

Flower Tales Titanium Dioxide mineral form is anastase, a crystalline form which is less abrasive and suitable for make up formulations even for sensitive skins

Solubility: non soluble.

DOSAGE: 5-10%. Max 25% in sunscreen products. It can be used combined in equal parts with Zinc Oxide. Add 5% Dry Flo to a 1% Titanium Dioxide sunscreen lotion to enhance its natural SPF by up to 40%.

APPLICATIONS:sunscreen products; make up products; creams; soaps.

Packaging: “Stand Up” envelope, silver/transparent, re-sealable and reusable.
