Flower Tales Silver Fir essential oil is a 100% pure extract obtained from the youngest twigs of Abies alba trees growing spontaneously in the mountainous north-east region of Italy. Flower Tales Silver Fir essential oil is a high quality, natural and completely sustainable product. Origin: Italy (Trentino-South Tyrol).
The chemotype of our Silver Fir essential oil is well balanced, characterised by alpha & beta-pinene and limonene, with a 10-14% concentration of camphene: its distinctly balsamic notes have relaxing effects. It has particularly effective antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties and has toning and purifying effects on the skin.

FLOWER TALES QUALITY: Harvesting wild plants is even more eco-friendly than organic farming: Flower Tales Silver Fir essential oil is extracted in Italy from endemic plants in full respect of the environment, collecting only selected parts without damaging the tree and the surrounding vegetation. In the wild, Silver Fir is less predominant than the similar Picea Abeis; to ensure a pure product, special machinery is used that can recognise and select only young twigs of Abies alba, avoiding contamination with other plants’ parts. Quality control continues in the lab to ensure the specific chemotype. The essential oil if obtained by first distillation, through a totally natural process that uses steam as a solvent, without the use of any other chemicals.
SUGGESTED COMBINATIONS: Mandarin essential oil, Cypress essential oil, Eucalyptus essential oil, Cedarwood essential oil, Scots Pine essential oil.
INDICATIONS: oily, impure skin; irritated skin; acne; small cuts. Oily or excessively dry scalp, dandruff, dermatitis. Muscular pain; joint pain; rheumatism; cramps.
APPLICATIONS: massage oils, deodorants, tricologic lotions, antidandruff shampoos, shower gels, bubble baths, shaving soaps, after-shaves, perfumery, oil diffusers. Emulsions to treat oily or inflamed skin.
