Orange Flower Hydrolate (Neroli) – Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower Water (extract) – 250ml
ILLUMINATING - MOISTURISING - REFRESHING - TONING - REGENERATING – PURYFYING - ASTRINGENT– VASOCONSTRICTOR – REVITALISING
Flower Tales Orange Flower Hydrolate, or Neroli water, is obtained by ultrasound assisted extraction from the flowers of bitter orange (Citrus × aurantium v. Amara). Neroli water is much valued for its enchanting scent, however Flower Tales Orange Flower Hydrolate can be considered a proper extract and not just a simple floral water.
It can be used as a tonic for dull, tired skin needing more luminosity and to contrast dark circle and eye bags. Its decongestant properties bring relief to tired, swollen legs. It has astringent properties with a purifying effect on the skin, which makes it ideal also for oily or impure skin, especially if sensitive or irritated. In face care products, it helps close pores and give a more radiant glow. It can help regulate the production of sebum and can be used to address seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp.

FLOWER TALES QUALITY: Flower Tales Neroli Hydrolate is not obtained by distillation, like most flower waters, but by ultrasound assisted extraction. This modern extraction process gives a herbal water that is richer in active compounds, without damaging those that are thermolabile (easily destroyed by heat).
No alcohol or solvents are used in the process: only water. Ultrasound assisted extraction uses less energy than distillation and is a sustainable, environmentally-friendly technology.
No extraction process is substitute for quality of the raw material: we selected an Italian supplier to guarantee superior quality, traceability and a short chain. The flowers of the bitter orange tree are delicately handpicked in Arpil and May, discarding any damaged flower that could compromise the quality of hydrolate. The pants are grown near the city of Syracuse in the Mediterranean island of Sicily, where orange trees have been cultivated since antiquity. The extraction ratio is 1:5.
Flower Tales Orange Flower Hydrolate is a natural product and its bacterial count must be kept in check with the use of preservatives and stabilisers. A completely “green” solution such as benzyl alcohol+sodium benzoate+potassium sorbate could be poorly tolerated by some individuals, especially for an everyday product such as floral water. We therefore opted for a mix containing phenoxyethanol, which while not considered 100% natural, is completely safe and well tolerated even by very sensitive skin. For transparency, we show here the full list of ingredients, including those in minimal quantities which would not normally be listed: Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower Water, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tetrasodium glutamate diacetate
