Flower Tales Liposomes and Nanosomes, obtained exclusively from plant-based phospholipids, are nano-carriers of Vitamins A and E

Liposomes, and the smaller nanosomes, are engineered little bubbles of vegetable fat, which naturally form in water-based solutions and can be filled with compounds such as Vitamins. Liposomes protect and carry the vitamins and release them once they reach the tissues that need them. Their variable size allows them to penetrate directly into the dermis and epidermis.

FLOWER TALES QUALITY: This is a product of advanced biotechnology adopted for medical and premium cosmetic products, such as nanoemulsions.  Each microcapsule contains only one type of vitamin: the ratio of Vitamin A and Vitamin E is 1:3. Each of the two types of liposomes is produced separately; capsules of different sizes also follow separate production processes. The size of the liposomes are carefully studied to reach the dermis and epidermis at different times and to be absorbed at different times, for long lasting effects.

Differences between Liposomal Vitamins and Vitamins sold separately:

Cosmetic benefits: the encapsulation technology has advantages in terms of enhanced efficacy, absorption and action of the vitamins.

Practical benefits: unlike Vitamin A and Vitamin E sold separately,Liposomal vitamins are water soluble and can therefore be used in formulations requiring no fats, heating or solubilisers. It is also precisely calibrated, containing the optimal amount of vitamins; it is easy to dose and it avoids having to calculate the proportions for the individual vitamins, simplifying the execution of recipes.

Weaknesses: the Vitamin E contained in the liposomes is Tocopheryl Acetate, rather than Tocopherol, which is equally emollient and protective, but with milder antioxidant properties. It is also not a totally “green” product, as it contains minimal quantities of preservatives which some people consider controversial, but nevertheless normally well tolerated; this is the full composition:  Acqua: > 90%, soy-derived Phospholipides: 3.5% (No GMOs), Vitamin E: 3%, Vitamin A: 1%, Caprylyl glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Imidazolidinyl urea.

Solubility: Water soluble

DOSAGE: 3-8%. Add to cold emulsions (C Phase). Stable at pH 5-6.
