Cetearyl Glucoside- Cetearyl Glucoside - 25 and 50g
EMULSIFYING – EMOLLIENT – SILK EFFECT
Flower Tales Cetearyl Glucosideis a 100% plant-derived emulsifier for Oil-in-Water emulsions. It’s incredibly efficient, being used at very low concentrations, without any co-emulsifiers, leaving more space for other active ingredients in the formulations. Cetearyl Glucoside enhances the spreadability of emulsions without leaving white streaks. It has emollient properties and leaves the skin feeling silky. Used in combination with Potassium Stearate, it’s the ideal emulsifier for formulations of spray-lotions. Cetearyl Glucoside should be added to the water-soluble ingredients (A Phase) to which the fats (B Phase) are then stirred in. Should the formulation require the A Phased to be added to the B phase, no stirring should occur and the emulsion should be rapidly homogenised.
DOSAGE: 1% for lotions with 10-20% fats. 1.5% for creams with 20-35% fats.. 0.5% for spray-lotions, in combination with 0.5% Potassium Stearate. Add Cetearyl Glucoside to the water-soluble ingredients (A Phase)
